Office is open weekdays from 9:30 to 3:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday
from 9:30 to 12:30. The Center is closed on Saturday and Sunday unless
a breakfast or luncheon is scheduled.
- Membership is $5 a year for folks at least 55 years old.
- Meetings for individuals and groups can be scheduled through the office.
Rent is $15 per event.
- No alcohol or smoking is allowed in the building or on the grounds.
The current schedule of events for the month of July is as follows:
- Walking – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
- Blood pressure every Tuesday 9:30a.m. to noon.
- Hearing tests – 2nd and 4th Tuesday 9:30 to noon
- Quilting group meets – Wednesday 9:30a.m. to 3:p.m.
- Rummage Sales – 8:a.m. to 1:p.m. call for dates
- Breakfast second Sunday - once a month 8:a.m. to 11:a.m.
- Lunch twice a month on Saturdays – 11:30a.m.
- Birthday lunch – last Saturday of the month – 11:30a.m.
- Rotary luncheon every Thursday at noon
- Tops meets twice every Monday at 9:30a.m. and 6:p.m.
- Pinochle Monday at 7:p.m. - all invited
When the Senior Center is open, there is cable television in the lounge
next to the office. There are puzzles, playing cards, a pool table,
books to read and borrow, a copy machine (10ca copy), greeting cards
and hand-crafted
items for sale. Coffee, tea, and cookies are always offered.

Local bus (Dial-a-ride) runs Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:30
til 1:30 - handicapped ADA equipped. No holiday service.
Cost - $1.50 (runs approx. 10 miles north and south of Port Orford) |
